Some test shots/first impressions from the Hasselblad. Just some random shots, nothing too serious.
Ektar 100 developed using a Unicolor C41 kit and scanned with my Epson v500
It’s Saturday night and I’m picking grease out from under my fingernails while trying to ignore the smell of fixer coming from my hands. I’m okay with this.
“I want to caution you against the idea that balance has to be a routine that looks the same week in and week out.”
Finally got around to developing the film I’ve had laying around for some time now. Like I said in my last post, I exhausted my developing chemicals and needed to restock. Click read more to learn more about these shots.

I’ve been meaning to learn how to develop traditional black and white film for a while now. Usually I only develop C-41 (color) film and just use C-41 black and white film like Kodak BW400CN and Ilford XP2 Super. I’ve learned a lot about C-41 black and white films and figured it was time to start branching out to different films.
Here’s a rundown of what you see in this photo:-Heico Permawash-Adox Adonal (Rodinal formula)-Kodak Photo Flo-Ilford Rapid Fixer-Fuji Acros 100 black and white film-Grade Select “Buy Film Not Megapixels” stickers (buy them here)
Pretty sure I’m going to try semi-stand developing first. Basically the idea is to use a really diluted developer (1+100 ratio) and let the film sit in there for an hour or two. Agitate every 30 minutes to surround the film with fresh developer, rinse, fix, and dry. The reason I wanted to try this first is because things have been really hectic lately so I figured this would be the easiest method and I’ve been seeing some great results with Acros online.
Will have results up soon!](http://25.media.tumblr.com/8310cb57bfb8850271b0e40b1b8cf855/tumblr_mkyvki8O8n1rw5bhpo1_500.jpg)
